Nuremberg is now one of the most important trade fairs in the industry and proves the attractiveness of this exhibition with more than 100,000 visitors. SPÄNEX, the specialist for extraction and briquetting systems, will again be in direct neighbourhood to the WEINIG Group in hall 9, booth no. 305, presenting its innovations and product improvements in the fields of suction, conveying, filtering, dedusting, briquetting, painting, controlling and shredding. Moreover, a suction system will be presented in live operation with a total air capacity of 50,000 m³/h, with which the woodworking machines exhibited and demonstrated by the WEINIG Group will be sucked off. HH18_121x305_INT_WIN_woodworking_international_BES_GUT.indd 1 15.01.18 14:45 started up depending on the accumulated amount of chips. The briquetting capacities of the machines range from 70 to 250 kg/h (Fig. 2). The customers can thus get an impression of the operation of the machines and the excellent briquette quality in live operation. Fig. 1 SPÄNEX uses the fair to show a broad public as novelty a plant concept for suction based on dedusters in live operation. Two stations each with two dust extractors are installed and operated, whereby each dust extractor provides a maximum air capacity of 10,000 m³/h. On the exhibition stand of the WEINIG Group another deduster (Fig. 1) with a maximum air capacity of 10,000 m³/h will be placed, so that the total volume flow sums up to 50,000 m³/h. The background of the new development are the customer’s requirement profiles, where due to local conditions the filter systems cannot be installed outside the buildings as required by the regulations. The alternative solution, which has been tried and tested in practice, of arranging the filter system indoors and equipping it with flameless pressure relief devices, is also not feasible in some cases for structural reasons, so that another solution had to be found. SPÄNEX has therefore developed this plant concept based on dust collectors. All five displayed dust extractors will be operated according to actual demand. This means, that the required volume flow depends on the woodworking machines in operation. Practical experience has shown that this demand-based operation leads to considerable energy savings compared to conventional system technology. Briquetting presses are arranged below the three deduster stations, which are automatically The deduster-briquetting press units are equipped with a compact control unit, so that only one control unit is required for the deduster and the briquetting press. Further advantages of this solution are: • all sensors and actuators are connected to the PLC (Siemens S7-1200) via plug connections (IO-Link-Profinet system) • all data can be transferred for further processing to existing process control systems of the customer and optional remote monitoring is possible. Due to the great demand, the dust extractor (Fig. 3) for the extraction of manual work machines and workplaces, which was shown as a novelty at the last LIGNA in Hanover, will also be exhibited. It is characterized by a particularly high suction pressure of up to 10,000 Pa. The use of energy-saving IE3 class motors combined with a frequency converter is standard. The other advanta_ ges of this series are: • the compactness, • the low noise emission, • the complete control unit, • the user-friendliness and, • the extensive accessories. Fig. 2 The exhibition program shown in the demonstration operation is completed by a single-shaft shredder. It is expected that projects concerning paint mist extraction will also be questioned at the fair. The extensive product range of SPÄNEX (dry spray walls, underfloor extraction, extraction tables, grinding stands and cabins) allows a plant DISCOVER design adapted to the customer’s conditions. By means of practical examples the various solutions EXPERIENCE are shown, whereby the aspects energy efficiency, heat recovery and control and regulation technology have a particularly high MAKE priority. The company is exhibiting its filter technology in live operation and looks forward to providing extraction for all processing machines in the “HOMAG City” on the Stand of HOMAG again. NESTRO ® Deduster NE 300 P with integrated briquetting press NBP. All dedusters from NESTRO ® can be used in inside installation to extract wooden dust and wood shavings (German BG certification H3), but also to extract plastic, leather, paper or other industrial dust. The operating air volume of these compact devices reaches from 2,300 to 9,500 m 3 /h. Since NESTRO ® dedusters work in clean gas operation ‐ the fan comes after the filter - highest energy efficiencies and absolute dust tightness are guaran- DISCOVER teed. The clean gas technology also reduces the EXPERIENCE risk of fire due to sparks since metal particles cannot get to the fan impeller. The company rises to the growing challenges of energy efficiency and noise reduction with competent, comprehensive consulting services and suitable technology. Considerable energy savings can be realised on the system side by using highly efficient fans, frequency converters for fan control, high efficiency motors (IE3, IE4) and recirculating air instead of exhaust air systems, as well as by using the return air for heating or air conditioning. Subsidies are available in some countries that make even the retrofitting of existing systems interesting - for example to change raw gas into clean gas systems. Noise emissions can also be drastically reduced through optimum product and system design as well as various insulation measures. With NESTRO ® , trade fair visitors have the opportunity to experience and evaluate many applications in live operation. The Compact System for Craftsmen On a compact space of only 12 m 2 NESTRO ® shows how you make an energetically superb biofuel in the form of briquets from wood waste. In contrast to split logs wood briquettes have a constant density and flame-clean especially smoothly and controlled. They almost leave no ash. The introduced system consists of a shredder and a mobile deduster with a fully integrated briquetting press. The briquettes made have a diameter of 60 cm and fit for storage at any dry place. Filter House NFHSU 11/11-20 w/ Briquetting Press The NESTRO ® clean-gas filter house allows Y large filter areas to fit in the tightest of spaces and material accumulated of 23 m 3 CM to be stored temporarily through the day. This system features a fil- MY ter area of 175 m 2 . It allows visitors to experience CY live how wood chips and wood dust are filtered, CMY collected and processed into briquettes with a diameter of 50 mm.
