DMG is also impressed by the easy disassembly and cleaning of the pump when changing products. The simple design with only one shaft and only one mechanical seal, which is particularly easy to access and dismantle, means that fewer parts are needed than with other pumps. This means that disassembly and reassembly only take about five minutes each. Mistakes are practically impossible thanks to the simple assembly. And maintenance is also very simple - even though no maintenance work has been necessary in more than nine months of operation. Thanks to the sine pump, the dental material company is prepared for steadily increasing production volumes and, if necessary, larger filling volumes for the innovative 3D printing solutions. “We have already carried out successful tests with higher filling volumes. Thanks to the sine pump's extensive certification, its outstanding performance and energy efficiency, its simple handling and the options for retrofitting cooling or heating elements to cope with temperature-sensitive media, we can be sure that our filling station will be future-proof for many years to come!” says the product technician enthusiastically. Disassembly and reassembly in just 5 minutes During an extensive test period, the Hamburg-based company was able to get an idea of the sine pump and its performance. “The sinusoidal principle really impressed us,” says the product technician. At 0.85 bar, the pump not only has more than enough suction capability for processing the highly viscous media, but also delivers the necessary reliability: The shear forces are extraordinarily low and any pulsation is almost undetectable, resulting in maximum accuracy at the filling valve.
