Eric Schäfer editor-in-chief The year 2020 will - as is already foreseeable - be a challenge for the global economy and thus also for the machine tool and the machine tool industry and its customers. Growth will be modest worldwide, if not declining in many places. But difficult times are always an opportunity to reinvent oneself and to score points with innovations and creative solutions. First results of these creative efforts can be seen at GrindTec 2020, the World Trade Fair for Grinding Technology.
