Ingredients Chobani LLC,

Ingredients Chobani LLC, Norwich, New York, U.S., offers plant-based organic Chobani Probiotic made with oats. Varieties are cherry hibiscus tea, lemon ginger, peach mint and pineapple turmeric. A 14-ounce serving includes about 9% juice and contains 70 to 80 calories, 2 grams of fat, 1 to 2 grams of protein and 10 grams of sugar, of which 7 to grams are added. GoodBelly Probiotics, Boulder, Colo., has launched a new Immune Support product line in quart and shot-style formats. The juice-based beverage contains the probiotic strains Lactobacillus plantarum HEAL9 and Lactobacillus paracasei 8700:2. The organic, no-sugar-added drinks come in citrus guava, lemon ginger turmeric, passionfruit and pineapple varieties. New York City-based start-up Bubluv is launching ready-to-drink, better-for-you boba tea drinks. The Black Milk Tea with Tapioca Pearls is made with whole milk, but there are also two vegan options: Matcha Soy Latte with Tapioca Pearls and Passionfruit Oolong Guava with Tapioca Pearls. Each flavor is brewed with loose leaf tea and is sweetened with monk fruit and erythritol. The ready-to-drink bubble tea has no added sugar or artificial ingredients, contains less than 50 calories per bottle and provides antioxidants. “After learning how unhealthy boba tea could be, I decided to create Bubluv Bubble Tea so I could enjoy one of my favorite drinks without worrying about how much sugar I was consuming,” says Diana Ark Chen, CEO and founder. “The incredible pre-launch demand has been a clear indicator that I was not alone in my sentiment. Consumers deserve to experience bubble tea in a simple and better-for-you way and we’re excited to bring this first-of-its-kind beverage to market.” REBBL (Roots, Extracts, Berries, Botanicals, Love), Emeryville, California, U.S., also now offers immunity support plant-based functional beverages. The company is a pioneer in the natural beverage category with its organic, plantbased elixir drinks made with super herbs and adaptogens, such as ashwagandha, maca and reishi. Now fan favorites--Dark Chocolate Protein, Reishi Chocolate, Turmeric Golden Milk and Vanilla Protein-- are crafted with baker’s yeast beta-glucan, a flavorless and generally recognized as safe ingredient that has been clinically proven to support immunity. “We have been working on adding immune support to our products since long before COVID struck. Consumers, even pre- COVID, had a high level of interest in supporting their immune health, but we were not willing to compromise the taste and integrity of our best-selling drinks without careful development and proven research. It took time for us to perfect our blends,” says Bonnie Neulight, chief marketing officer and chief innovation officer Less than a year ago, nutrition beverage marker Abbott Laboratories, Abbott Park, Illinois, U.S., introduced its first vegan product: Ensure Plant-Based Protein Nutrition Shake. It is made with a blend of fava bean and pea protein for strength and energy. It’s also high in fiber, low in sugar and contains no artificial colors, flavors or sweeteners. It made its debut in chocolate and vanilla flavors. PepsiCo acquired the Evolve brand in 2019 and is growing the plant-based protein beverage brand to a new level of plant by moving it further outdoors with its new mission-driven marketing campaign built around sustainability. The commitment includes three key focus areas: updating product packaging to include more plantbased materials, using sustainably raised peas to power Evolve protein shakes and teaming up with reforestation nonprofit organization One Tree Planted to plant 0,000 worth of trees in urban areas. The first planting event was held in May 2022 in New York City. The packaging now includes a biomaterials-based cap made from sugarcane that has a lower carbon footprint than petroleum-based alternatives. The brand is also updating its carton to a version made with paperboard and other bio-based ma-terials, which means that the majority of the carton is made of plant-based layers. And lastly, the focus on pea-based protein is all about helping to improve soil quality. The Author The Pepsi Lipton Tea partnership is a joint venture between PepsiCo, Purchase, New York, U.S., and Unilever North America, Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, U.S. The company’s latest innovation is Yachak Yerba Mate, which is designed to provide sustained energy via the 160mg of plant-based caffeine from organic yerba mate derived from the South American rainforest. Flavors are Berry Red, Berry Blue, Ultimate Mint, Blackberry and Passion Fruit.
